Can BCBG Shoes Compliment Everyone?
If you’re hunting for a more contemporary styled shoe for today’s younger crowd then maybe BCBG Shoes may have what you need.
Shoes in the BCBG collection are definitely targeted towards a younger hip indie crowd who thrives for attention and Max Azria serves it up best. Take note, this is not your mom’s shoe.
The shoes have a more European style and flair and compliments more classy outfits than the toned-down everyday style. Much of the collection does not mesh well with the office conservative wear and is generally branded for the trendy club and bar scene.
Made well known by the Hollywood and NYC Soho crowd but comes across as a super strong shoe that can’t be worn by just anyone. This entire collection stands out and you’ll definitely be noticed and remembered.
I must say you either adore or hate BCGB shoes; there actually isn’t any in between.
What I love about BCBG Shoes:
· Young, Fresh and trendy and shows off a lot of attitude.
· If you’re searching for that “look at those shoes…I wonder where she got those from?” then BCBG brand will be perfect for you.
What I don’t like about BCBG Shoes:
· Awfully small amount of vibrant colors infused in the whole collection (the 2010 Paris collection offers a couple colorful additions). Sure, Black, Tan and Grey will go with everything but I need a lot more spice in my wardrobe.
· Most of shoes have that funky toned-up vibe leaving me ready to party. Not sure if that is bad or good?
The FavoriteChoices out of All BCBG Shoes:
· Women’s Lark 1 Pump in Azalea Pink; it’s a rare find in a collection or neutral colors but after searching and hunting I discovered this gorgeous pink color that just popped! Can you imagine wearing this out at night?
· The Colly Bootie in Black – a shoe-bootie that has an amazing feminine feel created simply for the modern woman. Can be paired flawlessly with a pantsuit or a chic little black dress.
But like I said, these shoes are targeted towards a particular kind of woman. Now I don’t believe you can give a positive review just by looking at a shoe; you’ve got to go out and wear it, so I did;
The few BCBG shoes that I tried out were cut very narrow so it won’t fit just any foot. If you generally wear a size 7, get a size 7.5; As soon as I tried on the shoe all eyes were on my feet. It really has a magnetism all its own. I can not imagine how one would feel wearing these shoes to an event – it would be the thing to talk about all night; “where’d you get them”; “how much did they cost”;
Does anyone ever inquire about how a shoe feels? Or does it actually matter?
