This might be a really unpopular post because I’m bringing it up so early, but the reality is that Xmas is not all that far away. Before you know it, there will only be a few weeks left until Christmas and the panic would have started. People will suddenly start to break out in a cold sweat and worry about what to buy everyone.

Last year it was great as I had lots of time to do my Christmas shopping. I did not have that last minute rush to the shops and I could take a leisurely walk around the town with no hassle and no crowds. As I am working full time this year, I need to get myself totally organised.

I find that the worst part of Christmas is pinning down the family and finding out what they actually want for Christmas. I do not mind spending money if I know what to get, it just annoys me when you traipse round the shops, thinking would they like this, would they like that and coming home with nothing.

This year it would be nice to try and help the environment so bearing this in mind I have decided to take a look at ethical gifts. It is always good when you feel you are helping others, and what better time to do this than at Christmas?
